Well it's been a week since I started Phase 1 of the South Beach diet and I've lost 5.5 lbs bringing my current weight to 1970.0. Sunday was Father's Day and I cheated a little bit and had a small piece of this peanut butter pie, but other than that I stuck to steak, grilled green beans, and salad (even though there were made-from-scratch biscuits, punch, jam, butter and baked potatoes all around me). Monday I was up a pound (I wonder from what....hmmmm) but thankfully the one week mark has me very optimistic about my goals.
